We provide the latest update software for the Built-in Cam

  • Target model
    • G80, GV80, GV70
  • How to use
    1. Download the update file for each vehicle type to the USB memory from the ‘Built-in Cam Update > Download’ menu.
      The update file cannot be executed on the PC. Do not decompress, download to USB memory as it is, and immediately update the vehicle without any separate procedure.

    2. Insert the downloaded USB memory into the vehicle’s Built-in Cam USB terminal and proceed with the update.
      It is necessary to connect to the Built-in Cam USB terminal not the navigation USB terminal, and the location of the Built-in Cam USB terminal by vehicle type is as follows.

Built-in Cam update contents

  • Apply the new home screen
    • The recording function can be easily set on the Built-in Cam home screen.


  • Initialize the Built-in Cam setting during initialization of the infotainment system user profile
    • When initializing the infotainment system user profile, the Built-in Cam setting of the profile is also linked to initialize.



Caution

  • Proceed with the update with the officially provided update file. If you change the file name of the update file, it will not be updated normally, and the Built-in Cam may not work properly.
  • When updating using a USB memory, it is recommended to format the USB memory before copying the update file.
    • File system formatted in FAT16 / FAT32 / NTFS /exFAT format is supported. In some cases, certain USB memory products may notwork properly.
  • When downloading the file, check the vehicle model correctly. When downloading update files for other models, the update may not proceed or the Built-in Cam may not work properly.
  • Disconnect the USB disk after file copying from the PC is completely finished. If you disconnect while copying files, the files may be damaged and may not be updated normally.
  • For in-vehicle update method and instructions, refer to the ‘Built-in Cam Update > Update method’ menu.
  • It is recommended to keep the navigation / Built-in Cam software up to date. If thenavigation / Built-in Cam software is not the latest version, graphics maydiffer of functions may not work properly.
  • If the Built-in Cam does not work properly due to installation failure during the update, visitthe nearest service center.
  • If file download is not easy, you can get support for Built-in Cam update through the service center.
    • Depending on the service center, the update preparation period is required, so contact usafter inquiring in advance.
    • When updating throughthe service center, separate labor fees may be charged.
